Parfois il me semble que la musique que j’écris n’a pas de début ni de fin mais est simplement le transfert dans notre dimension de musique qui existe toujours sans interruption dans une autre dimension, quelque chose comme une bande infinie qui tourne toujours et qui est attachée à un haut-parleur de temps en temps… Je feuillette les journaux de Riccardo Bianchini; il écrivit cette pensée à 23 ans… 5 ans plus tard, en 1974, il commença à enseigner la musique électronique, d’abord à Pescara, puis à Milan et enfin au Conservatoire de Rome, où il mourut subitement le 9 juin 2003, alors qu’il s’apprêtait à entrer dans la salle de classe. Bianchini a toujours été lié à la recherche musicale, à la passion de l’expérimentation, à une profonde connaissance de la relation entre science et musique. En tant que compositeur, enseignant, chercheur, il était très ouvert, profondément humain, dévoué et vital. En regardant les journaux de sa jeunesse que sa femme Ambretta m’a gentiment montrés il y a quelques jours, je découvre de nombreux aspects inconnus d’un compositeur qui ignorait généralement la concurrence et le pouvoir, tant du point de vue politique qu’humain. Et c’est peut-être pour cela que les journaux ont très peu écrit sur lui à sa mort (à l’exception d’un bel article de Nicola Sani dans «Diario» n ° 24).
